Rising soprano Sivan Goldman is quickly establishing herself as a versatile artist with a wide range of repertoire from the classical period to contemporary music. In her performances worldwide, she enchants audiences with her warm, rich, shimmering light lyric voice, praised for her flexible top and exquisitely beautiful dramatic delivers. Her attention to musical style, combined with a striking stage presence have taken her to début as Lisa in La Sonnambula  (Bellini) at the lyric theatre of Cagliari, Sardinia, under the baton of Mº Maurizio Benini. Since then, soprano Sivan Goldman enjoys a promising invigorated career with performances in operatic roles and oratorio both in Israel and abroad. With the PSG Classic production she has sang the role of Queen of the night in The Magic Flute (Mozart), at the Passion Theatre in Oberammergau, Germany under the baton of Mº Frank Cramer. She has also sang this role with the Israel Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Mº Roni Porat. With the New Israeli Opera she has sang the leading role of the Nonette at the world's premiere of The child dreams by Israeli composer Gil Shohat, and the role of Madame Herz in The Impresario (Mozart). She has also sang the role of Adele inThe Bat (J. Strauss) both with the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra and the Ra'anana symphonette orchestra under the baton of Mº Leonto Wolf.


At the International Opera Workshop of the Israeli Vocal Arts Institute, under the guidance of Ms. Joan Dornemann from the Metropolitan Opera in NY, she sang the roles of Blonde  in The Abduction from the  Seraglio (Mozart), Elvira  in The Italian girl in Algiers (Rossini), and Zerlina  in Don Giovanni (Mozart).


Her successful performance in the contemporary Israeli piece My Lord Hear my Prayer (Zehavi) with the Tel-Aviv Chamber Choir at the Abu-Gosh Festival, led to an impressive continuity concerts in Berlin and Nuremberg. Her International Tournée includes, among others, solo recitals at the International Imago Festival of Arts in Hungary and Slovenia.


Recently she has performed, along with Israeli mezzo-soprano Orit Gabriel, at The Euro Mediterraneo Fstival in Villa dei Quintili, Rome. The programme included exclusive pieces by Grand composers of Jewish music, and the entire concert, which officially opened the festival, was broadcasted live on the Italian channel Rai 2.


Sivan frequently performs as a distinguished soloist in oratorio and liturgical music. Recently she sang the soprano role in Mozart's Great Mass in C Minor, with the Jerusalem Festival Orchestra. Other favorite Mozart roles include Vesperae Solennes de Confessore  with the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Abner Itai, and the motet Exsultate Jubilate with The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra under the baton of  Mº Amos Talmon, a concert which was broadcasted live at the national Israeli radio channel. Her cooperation with Mº Talmon has continued in season 2013/2014 and has include, among others, Mahler's 4th Symphony, Bizet's Te-Deum, and Rossini's Stabat Mater

Among Her engagements for the season 2014/ 2015 in Israel, Sivan will be singing the opera roles of Norina/ "Don Pasquale" (Donizetti), Gilda/ "Rigoletto" (Verdi), Oscar/ "Un ballo in Maschera" (Verdi), as well as in Mahler's 2nd Symphony, The Grand Mass by Gounod, and Mozart's Requiem.


Sivan has graduated with distinction (Cum Laude) from the Tel-Aviv Academy of Music, where she studied voice with Mrs. Agnes Massini.


Among her recognitions she was awarded the America Israel Cultural Foundation scholarships, The Israeli Vocal Arts Institute scholarships, and recently The Foundation of promoting education in Israel scholarship, as well as the Ronen Foundation scholarship.
